Mission

Mission Statement 

Cultivate a collaborative partnership between DFW private sector financial institutions and federal, state, and local public sector entities responsible for legislation, regulation, enforcement, and services associated with critical infrastructure response and protection.

Goals

·         Develop and maintain a highly representative private sector coalition comprised primarily of regional financial institutions.

·         Create an effective communications platform for regional financial institutions to share and disseminate information and best practices with one another.

·         Provide value to coalition members, participants, and other regional financial institutions.

·         Develop and foster a successful private/public sector partnership

·         Increase the resiliency of coalition members and other participating regional financial institutions to potential and probable threats and risks.

Objectives

·         Provide coalition representation to regional Emergency Management and Emergency Response organizations.

·         Solicit coalition membership and provide information and services inline with coalition mission and goals.

·         Provide regional contingency planning and preparedness assistance to participating coalition members.

·         Align geographical services with coalition members, city emergency management, and Texas disaster districts

·         Improve public sector awareness to coalition and financial sector initiatives and objectives.

·         Collaborate with state and local agencies on emergency evacuation and credentialing strategies for coalition members.

·         Provide and share trusted and timely security information and provide for threat advisory to coalition members.

·         Collaborate with law enforcement and investigative agencies to assist and effectively combat cyber threats targeting coalition members.

·         Collaborate with public sector agencies on regional threats, risks, contingencies, safeguards, and countermeasures for coalition members.

·         Collaborate and integrate with other national and regional critical infrastructure coalitions.

·         Promote Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council for Critical Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security (FSSCC) initiatives and objectives.

·         Sponsor coalition and industry representation to federal, state, and local public sector infrastructure response and protection initiatives.
