DFW First, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation founded BY regional financial institutions FOR regional financial institutions to establish an ongoing forum to collaborate on Business Continuity and Homeland Security matters with the public sector.  Please visit the Membership and/or About page for more information.

• Partner in crisis communications, planning, preparation, response, analysis, and alerting

Purpose

DFW First is a regional coalition created to support Homeland Security Critical Infrastructure / Key Resource (CI/KR) partnership initiatives involving the financial services and banking sector.  CI/KR initiatives classify the financial sector as a  “Critical Infrastructure," and recommend that private/public sector partnerships be initiated and maintained at the local and regional levels. DFW First was founded by premier regional financial sector instituions to meet these objectives.

DFW First continues to champion financial sector resiliency needs with government agencies while advocating expanded Business Continuity and Emergency Management preparation practices with regional financial institutions.  The DFW First “Beyond the 4 Walls” campaign is designed to align a financial institution’s Business Continuity and Emergency Preparation processes with outside agencies responsible for first response activities.  Leveraging existing partnerships, DFW First connects the financial institution with response agencies in advance of a potential and/or probable crisis.  By doing so, the financial institution will become better prepared for coordinated response activities.
